A stunning Gazebo behind 418 Friendship Street. New hardwood floors in our Social Services building. A brightly painted shed behind our men's rooming house. A new concrete walkway and ledge at 413 Friendship Street. These are some of the incredible projects done by students in the Amos Carpentry Training Program (ACT). Along with classroom training, a weekly practicum allows our students to gain professional experience by working on projects that enhance the community.  Below is a sampling of their work.

Students constructed this frame
for a Gazebo.

Students built this Gazebo, set the
walkway and did landscaping.

Students installed laminated flooring
at our Social Services building.

Students built and painted this shed
behind 414 Friendship St.

Students help set this walkway and
ledge at 413 Friendship St.

Several days later students' work is
featured at a building dedication.

Students rebuilt the front porch of a
private residence in Providence.

They installed new floor boards and
railings to create the new porch.

Students painted and added siding
to our Dining Hall.

Students built and varnished this
back porch at 413 Friendship St.
