Literacy Program Honors 22 Adults

Twenty-two women and men were recognized for their academic achievements at Amos House's Literacy Program Graduation and Recognition Ceremony on June 27th.  More than 100 guests attended the event which featured poetry reading, a musical performance, diploma and award presentations, and salutary remarks. Senator Harold Metts, Vice Chairman of Rhode Island's Senate Committee on Education, presented seven graduates who earned a high school diploma with a Senate Citation for their efforts and achievements.  Below are pictures from the festive event.
