Literacy Training
More than a meal, Amos House is a new beginning. Through our literacy program people who are homeless, high school dropouts, or simply challenged by reading or math can brush up their skills for success in today’s workplace and world.
Amos House provides adult basic education classes and tutorial assistance. We can also help you pursue an external high school diploma and postsecondary education or training.
Since 2008, our Literacy Program has helped 13 men and women receive a high school diploma or GED, and 85 adults increase their educational level.
