Volunteer Opportunities

Dining Hall
Year-round volunteers are needed to assist our staff in Amos House's Soup Kitchen. Our breakfast shift is 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and lunch shift 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. No experience is required—just a willingness to serve others and have fun with a terrific work crew. For safety's sake, law requires that dining hall volunteers be at least 14 years old. Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Thanksgiving. We are happy to report that we have all the volunteer help we can accomodate for both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We rely on volunteer help all year long, so please think of us in the future. You can also support Amos House by making a secure online donation.

Internship and Job Hosts
We welcome internship and job opportunities created by culinary professionals and contractors or builders for students and graduates of our ACE culinary and ACT carpentry training programs.
