Supportive Housing

Rooming Houses

Amos House has six rooming houses in different neighborhoods in Providence. They provide a total of 48 rooms for men and women.  Graduates of our 90-day program have first priority to move into our rooming houses.  They live in a clean and sober community and continue to benefit from our programs and services. One property is home to Amos House's Mother Child Reunification Center.  It provides permanent supportive housing and an array of services to women seeking to reconnect with their children after a period of separation due to substance abuse issues, incarceration, or a financial crisis.

Apartment Program

Amos House manages three apartment buildings with a total of 25 units.  They include one, two and three bedroom apartments for men, women and their children.  In addition to safe, clean and affordable housing, residents have access to case management, social services, meals, job training and placement assistance, education and health care services.  First priority is given to graduates of our 90-Day Transitional Housing Program.
