Amos House Family Success Center

In February, Amos House launched a Family Success Center to help our residents, guests and students build a strong financial future.  The Center offers bundled services in three areas – work supports and access to benefits, employment services, and financial education and counseling.

Funded through a grant from The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and Social Innovation Fund, we've helped adults discover their eligibility for benefits, open bank accounts, repair their credit, increase their income, set career goals, and search for jobs. Amos House was one of 47 community agencies to receive federal funding to establish or expand a financial opportunity center in ten U.S. metropolitan areas.
