Social Services
 The Amos House social service staff serves more than 15,000 people a year, providing intensive case management for our residents and a wide range of walk-in services for anyone in crisis. Our services include:
- Comprehensive 12-step based day program*
- Emergency assistance with utilities
- Bus passes and RIPTIX*
- Substance abuse counseling and referrals
- Mental health referrals
- Health care onsite, twice monthly
- Assistance with dental care
- Prescription assistance
- Legal aid referrals and onsite legal clinic
- Help with applications for SSI
- Help with applications for food stamps, FIP and other benefits*
- Personal hygiene items
- Housing assistance
- Money management and life skills training*
- Job placement referrals
- Assistance with continuing education referrals, applications and costs*
- Computer skills training
- Birth certificates and IDs
- Personal hygiene items
- Household items
- Mailing address for persons who are homeless
